I understand how hard it can be to even start looking for a provider, so I want to thank you for taking the time to be here! As a therapist, my goal is to navigate your wellness journey with you and help you become your biggest advocate through holistic, trauma-informed therapy that suits your particular needs. Together we can puzzle out the big questions in your life, unpack the uncertainties, and work through the things that stand between you and where you want to be. You know your story best, so let's talk about it!Â
As a complex trauma survivor and neurodivergent provider, I have been through my fair share of therapy and practice from a place of compassionate understanding of what it means to start, continue, or recommit to the healing journey. I believe in the power of a therapeutic relationship that is honest, authentic, and trusting. My own experiences with therapy over the past 2 decades have taught me how important it is for the person you choose to confide in to truly hear you when you speak, to see you without judgment in your experiences, and above all else to respect you, your voice, and your choices. Regardless of the content of our sessions, I'm here to advocate for healthy self-respect, promote self-determination, and help you understand and honor your inherent self-worth.
I graduated with my B.A. in Psychology from Texas Tech University, and my Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver. I have worked in various mental health roles as a case manager, educator, and community advocate. I have found my strengths and passion lie in working around large systems helping folx navigate community resources and leverage their personal strengths to bring them closer to their goals. Whether that feels like a motion forward, or backward at times, one thing always remains true - you're only getting smarter, and better equipped to navigate adversity next time. I'd be honored to help you gain the tools and insight needed to move confidently through your journey, one step at a time.
